The Kitchen Team
Our kitchen team is led by our Head Chef; Armando Suozzi. Born in Venezuela to Italian parents he was firstly instructed at the Caracas culinary institute. During this time around 2006 he worked for one of the then top chefs in Venezuela; Sumito Estévez. He decided to pursue a career in Europe, so in 2007 he moved to Rome, where he began to understand more about the Italian kitchen. Not long after he then moved across the Mediterranean to Barcelona where he worked at a collection of small restaurants, including at a tapas bar for Carles Abellan. Following this he spent two years working at Moo (now Roca Moo). Here he started as a stagiaire but made his way to become a chef de partie within a year. For the most recent part of his career he has worked at a few restaurants in the Oslo dining scene, where he has learned more about Asian kitchen styles, except for a three month period where he went to Noma in Denmark to be a stagiaire.
Our Sous Chef is Camilla Glanfield, who for her entire kitchen career has focused her attention exclusively to plant-based cooking. Having previously worked as a head chef in one of Oslo´s first vegan concepts; Funky Fresh Foods, she then decided to move through Europe. Subsequently during the last years she has been sailing from port to port working in plant based restaurants all over the continent.
